The Amazing Smiles team takes on a conservative approach to restorative dentistry and tries to save as much of the original tooth as possible.
As part of the root canal treatment, the inflamed or infected pulp is removed. The inside of the canal is then carefully cleaned and shaped. After this, the canal is filled and the space is sealed. Once the healing period has elapsed, the tooth will continue to function just like any other tooth! Amazing Smiles prides in having a very high success rate with this treatment which is designed to save problem teeth. Meet our Endodontist, Dr. Howard Liang, DDSDr. Howard Liang is a Southern California native and was raised in the San Gabriel Valley. Dr. Liang graduated from the University of California, Riverside where he received a BS degree in Biology. He completed his dental training at the UCLA School of Dentistry and pursued further training in endodontics at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
